Fresh 48
Photographs are like a song; they stop you in your tracks bringing you back to that exact day and feeling. And I’m finally sharing this special day with you all. This Fresh 48 session was our very own.
I cannot believe how much each of my littles have changed since these were taken and I am so thankful for these life-lasting memories. As I was picking through my photos I could not help but be brought back to the first moments with Pearce; the first time he met his sister and my mom, the moment all the love I knew I had for him came flooding in, and the joy that is brought with a new baby. While looking over these I was also reminded of how small he was.
Although I do wish I would have brought my tripod in from the car, I’m thankful for what was documented. Seriously, my tripod was in the car! What is wrong with me!? I had many thoughts go through my head about why to NOT bring it in. I didn’t want to bring another thing in or be in the way if nurses/Dr.’s were coming in and out (I am a people pleaser if you haven’t noticed). It’s funny how you think, “oh, it’s not that big of deal” and then looking back you think “it WAS a big deal!” I knew I would regret it but somehow convinced myself I wouldn’t. Luckily my husband did take some photos of me with both my kiddos (we do have all four of us at home). Thank goodness for him! But the photos we do have are irreplaceable and I’m so thankful for them. I’m not only thankful to have them for myself but to have them to share with you all as well.
P.S. Credit goes to my girl Catherine at Joyful Juniper Creative for the baby name and milestone wood rounds! She is incredibly talented! She can do anything baby! Nursery prints, these milestone wood rounds, invitations, announcements! Anything! Check her out!
